We, Margaret & Edna are people trainers who love dogs and want to help as many people as possible to train their dogs to be happy, compliant companions. Our mission is to teach dog owners how to train their dogs using pain free, force free & fear free methods.
Dogs and puppies are not naughty; they simply do things we don’t like. We call these behaviours “naughty”. What we owners need to do is to communicate courteously with our dogs to let them know what behaviours are acceptable & what are not.
By managing a dog’s environment to prevent unwanted behaviours in the first place, by ignoring unwanted behaviours that do occur and by reinforcing the behaviours we do want, we can train dogs to be as suited to our lifestyle as is humanely possible.
Margaret Gray has many years of experinece in training people. She has been a high school teacher and has worked with adults on a community level as well as having been a consultant with the then NSW Department of Education. She has also had very many years (far too many to mention!) as a dog owner and trainer.
Her dog training qualifications include a Certificate IV, Companion Animal Services from the Delta Institute of Australia and a Diploma of Canine Behavior Science & Technology from Canada’s Companion Animal Sciences Institute. Margaret is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is a full professional member of Pet Professional Guild Australia. She is currently on the committee of the PPGA.
